FAQs

General Info

    • Camp Alderwild is located at the Telluride Town Park - a strikingly beautiful venue surrounded by towering San Juan mountains, with a pristine river flowing through the campgrounds. The venue is located in one of the last true remaining mountain towns in the United States.  The venue itself is a large grass field with hard packed dirt and gravel pathways.

    • The venue can be accessed on foot, via the Gondola from Mountain Village, by bike, or by shuttle.

    • During the day, we strongly encourage everyone to explore the historic town and the surrounding nature, whether it’s visiting one of Telluride’s many art galleries, enjoying the diverse culinary offerings, or immersing yourself in the endless natural adventures. Please see our “Town of Telluride” highlight to discover more about this amazing town and surrounding areas.

    • Starting at 5pm, we invite everyone to join us for music on the event grounds. Once you enter the festival grounds at 5p, re-entry is not allowed.

    • All of the necessary facilities are available on the festival grounds, including food, craft vendors, water refill stations, medical services, and bathroom facilities.

    • There will be limited capacity after parties, announced at a later day, but the town’s local waterin’-holes come alive after the main event each night.

    • Once the concert begins, there will be no re-entry into the venue allowed, even from the campgrounds.

    • Bags will be checked upon entry into the concert grounds.

    • Weapons, glass, outside alcohol, totems, drones, and professional media equipment are not allowed inside the festival grounds.

    • Chairs and inflatable couches may only be used behind the sound booth.

    • No pets are allowed on the festival grounds or in the campgrounds. Service animals, of course, are an exception. Please review our accessibility policy below.

    • No vending is allowed on the festival grounds, unless approved by the event. Please apply to be a vendor here.

    • Leave it better than you found it by ensuring you’re familiar with Leave No Trace Principles and Tips here.

  • Sustainability is at the forefront of our mission with this gathering. We are lucky enough to experience this pristine mountain oasis together, and it’s important to treat it with respect. We hope this is the first of many electronic events in Telluride, and the impression we leave is the responsibility of all attendees, staff, and artists.

    • Single use plastics are not allowed at this event. We will provide reusable cups at the bars, and encourage everyone to bring reusable water bottles.

    • Using the correct trash, recycling, and compost bins remains imperative to keeping our footprint small. There will be at least one recycling and composting center in each campground. However, these efforts only work if you take the time to use them appropriately - please ensure you are disposing of your waste in the correct receptacles.

    • Please limit music on speakers, to respect both the wildlife and residents.

    • Do NOT feed wildlife at any point in time.

    • Bring as many reusable items as possible, like coffee mugs, utensils, and bags.

    • Carpool or use our shuttle services (see transportation information below).

    • Pack out all your waste - including cigarette butts, apple cores, and all of your camping gear.

Ensure you’re familiar with Leave No Trace Principles and Tips here. There are no excuses for leaving waste in Telluride.

Proceed through town to the entrance of the Town Park campground where you will be required to show proof of your ADA parking permit and will be directed to park next to the Festival grounds.

Another option is to drop off the person needing assistance and our staff will help park your vehicle remotely.

Management reserves the right to take appropriate action regarding misrepresentation of parking privileges which may include ticketing and towing cars at owner’s expense, reporting of misuse of disability plate/tag to Colorado Motor Vehicle for possible revocation of parking privileges, and/or criminal charges.

    Service Animals:

Service animals are permitted in the Concert grounds. Emotional support animals, comfort animals and therapy dogs are not service animals as defined by the 2010 ADA Guidelines. Each service animal must remain with its owner and be restrained. If a service animal interferes with other guests, corrective action may include re-arranging seating or removal of the service animal from the Concert grounds.

We encourage everyone to explore the town and surrounding mountains. You can find out more here.
